Provide PE deal sourcing through our extensive network of capital and service providers, PE funds, intermediaries and other sources
Serve as a “business development arm” of a client to harvest the client’s network of sources
Screen investment opportunities to identify those that meet the client’s stated investment goals |
Provide a systematic process for reviewing investment opportunities
Offer objective investment advice, identify key risks and concerns, validate investment thesis and key investment drivers, evaluate business and financial models, and provide due diligence and/or support and oversight of third party due diligence
Provide deal evaluation in multiple formats: formal presentations, investment memorandum or informal feedback
Structure and negotiate investment to meet client objective |
Offer monitoring and management services for client portfolio companies
Serve as a clients representative or advisor on the boards of portfolio companies
Provide management reviews and assessments and assist in the recruitment of supplemental or replacement management
Assist in identifying the need for and engagement of third party consultants and service providers |
Assist in the decision whether to invest fresh capital into an underperforming investment to help avoid the mistake of “good money after bad”
Review existing portfolio companies to determine whether to HOLD or SELL
Identify and negotiate an exit with a buyer and the portfolio company’s sponsor
Facilitate the engagement of investment banks or identify potential secondary buyers |
